Managing Workspaces with Android App
Workspaces are the core of Secrata — this is where you store files, invite collaborators, and communicate with your team.
Secrata offers two workspace types:
- Shared Workspaces – Can be shared with other users.
- Private Workspaces – Cannot ever be shared; intended for private files only.
When you open the app, you'll be asked which workspace type you'd like to manage. Your workspaces are listed alphabetically in a scrollable list.
Accepting or declining invitations
If you've been invited to a new workspace, the invitation will appear in your workspace list.
- Tap the invitation.
- Choose Accept or Decline.
Creating a workspace
- Tap the + icon in the upper-right corner.
- Enter a workspace name and an optional description.
- Choose Shared or Private.
- Tap Create Workspace. You'll be taken directly into the new workspace.
Note: You can invite people to a shared workspace later, from within the workspace itself.
Leaving a workspace
Leaving a workspace removes all your access to its files and messages. Remaining members can invite you back if needed, and once the last member leaves, the workspace is permanently deleted.
- Go to the Workspaces view, long-press the workspace you want to leave, then tap Leave to confirm.
