Viewing File Details with Secrata iOS App

Tapping a file opens its details pane, where you can manage several file-level features.

File tags

• Tags appear underneath the file name in the file details view.
• Tap the tag field to add a new tag, and choose whether it should be public (visible to all workspace members) or private (visible only to you).
• Tap Return to submit the tag.
• To remove a tag, tap it in the file details view.

File versions

• Version history is displayed in the lower-left corner of the file details pane.
• Tap the version icon to see all versions of the file.
• Tap any version to switch to and manage that version.

Locking and unlocking files

Locking a file prevents other users from editing or deleting it.

• Tap the lock icon at the bottom of the file details pane to lock a file.
• If a file is already locked, the icon will display Locked.
• Tapping the lock icon on a file locked by someone else lets you request an unlock — this posts a request to the workspace message board.

Downloading and previewing files

• Tap the Download/Preview button to download the file to your device.
• If Secrata supports a preview for that file type, it will display directly in the app. Otherwise, tap Preview to open the file in another app.
